Covid-19/T-Cells. Steel and Annealed Wire, 2020

This piece is somewhat personal in nature. Living through this pandemic has highlighted a number of vulnerabilities in our society. Personal Protective Equipment, or PPE as we often see it, is something that theoretically can be given to every person, provided there is enough to go around. The human immune system, however, is a vital component to protection from Covid-19, and it is one that is less easily secured. Many people, my mother among them, have compromised immune systems. This is a problem that cannot be solved simply through manufacturing and purchasing.
